Your contributions are what helps make Camp Dellwater succeed.

Because of our commitment to ensuring youth and families have the opportunity to experience camp and have their lives impacted for Christ, we work very hard to keep costs down for the churches and ministries who bring camp events to Dellwater.

The purpose of Camp Dellwater is to lead those participating into a closer relationship with our Lord Jesus Christ. In addition to spiritual growth, to give opportunity for mental and physical development through a variety of programs, including retreats, seminars, workshops, conferences, picnics, recreational and athletic events. However, Bible study and worship services will always receive high priority.

Camp creates community. Kids who attend camp and then plug into a Bible believing church can help build healthier families and communities. Families who are plugged in spirit filled churches build healthy communities. These communities then reach out and help their members and their greater community when in need.

Camp Dellwater is situated in the midst of three reservations and the three most poverty stricken counties in Minnesota.

Since we are where we are, we strive to provide a camp experience accessible to anyone regardless of income, by allowing the churches who host camp here to do so affordably. As a Camp that is not affiliated with a particular denomination, we are able to offer our services to any Bible believing church.

Camp Dellwater is also a 501(c)3 non profit religious organization. As such, we rely heavily on donors to help bridge the gap between what we charge groups and what it takes to operate the camp in a manner designed to foster future growth. As a faith based organization, we take seriously the Bible’s directives with regards to stewarding funds according to God’s plan.

In that, we need your help.

Your support, whether a one time gift or a commitment to give monthly, helps us to do several things:

1. Keep costs low for the groups who come to camp, so they can continue to offer affordable camps for families in our region. We need to bridge the gap between camper fees and operating costs.

2. Help us maintain and improve the facilities. Many of our buildings are 30+ years old or more and there are some significant repairs and updates needed. We also have larger goals we need to consider, for example, our showerhouse needs to be updated or possibly replaced.

3. Help us create a general fund to fund larger repairs, equipment purchases and camp updates as well as enabling the camp to look to the future. Having funds that can be set aside to met some of the future goals ensures that camp will continue to be here. Currently we enter each new camp season “running on fumes,” as it were.  Running a camp the size of Dellwater requires some significant equipment to maintain the buildings and grounds, which require maintenance and upkeep.

4.  Help us stock the shop. In January of this year, we had a shop fire which resulted in in a total loss of the shop. While our insurance has been very helpful in funds to rebuild, our contents coverage will only cover about half of our loss. We will need help to restock all the tools, parts and equipment we lost in the fire.

Your support enables us to maintain and update camp facilities each season. Please consider a generous gift to help us keep making camp affordable for the many groups and campers who spend time here each summer.

Please, prayerfully consider how you can partner with us to helps us achieve our goals. Your monthly support or end of the year giving, can make a significant difference in how we serve the children, youth and families who come to Camp Dellwater each year.

Thank you for all your help as we further the mission of Camp Dellwater!!
